Meet the Counselor...
Roxanne Delgado is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 13 years of experience working with children, adolescents and families. Roxanne has worked with individuals living with depression, anxiety, domestic violence, family issues and mental health diagnoses. Roxanne utilizes a holistic approach by providing individualized treatment based on her clients’ needs and identified goals.
Roxanne obtained her Masters of Education in Guidance and Counseling at The University of Texas RGV, and Bachelors of Art in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Texas RGV. Roxanne obtained her Associates of Art in Social Work while advocating for victims in court with the Crime Victims unit for Cameron County, TX.
Roxanne has provided services at local non-profits working with children who have experienced domestic violence and abuse by providing supportive referrals, psychoeducation and process group therapy to children and adults. Roxanne also has experience working in a psychiatrics hospital setting in which she provided group and individual therapy for moderate to acute leveled patients from depression to acute schizophrenia. Roxanne managed the outpatient program and the Partial Hospitalization Program (OPT/PHP) at the psychiatric hospital for both adults and adolescents in which she provided psychoeducation and process groups along with individual treatment plans & goals.
Roxanne is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Texas (License #80337) as well as a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor Intern (LCDC-I); Roxanne is scheduled to sit for her LCDC exam on April 6th, 2021.
